I chose Juliet’s images
because she works strictly with horses. Horses have been a huge part of my life
forever know. I live and breath horses. My dad is a jockey and that’s why I
chose some photos of the racehorses, since that topic is really close to my
heart as when I grow up I want to be just like him. Two other photos are of dressage horses, I
used to compete in dressage when I was
younger and it was one thing that really shaped my life and made me who I am.

I chose Alex’s Photography
because he takes pictures of the horse show jumping in the summer Olympics.
Show jumping is what I want to do with my thoroughbred that I’m training right
now so looking at the photos he’s taken encourages me to keep going to reach my
goal. Training a horse to do show jumping is very difficult so seeing these
photos are encouraging because it makes me want to have pictures with my horse
doing that.
Peter Olsen Photography
I chose Peter Olsens Photography because he is based in
Kamloops, BC and strictly takes images in Canada and also his last name is also
pretty good considering it’s the same as mine haha. Peter does an amazing job
expressing his use of light, each image’s light is perfect and surely does the
justice for the landscape. Another reason I chose Peters work is because I grew
up on a farm where the sunsets were always breathtaking and he really likes to
take pictures of sunsets which is a
really good memory or me.
